Presenters and Session Content Descriptions:
Atego - Processes and Modeling Practices for Safety-Critical Systems
Rhoda Quate - Field Application Engineer, Atego
Atego will discuss the authoring and management of system and software development processes for an organization following DO-178B specifications in an open, seamless environment. A demonstration, using Atego Process Director, will illustrate the ease of defining, refining, managing and measuring the organization’s processes using customizable process libraries under a thin client web browser interface, providing maximum efficiency of process management.
Wind River - ARINC 653 and Virtualization Solutions & DO-178B Toolchain
Joe Wlad - Senior Director, Aerospace and Defense, Wind River
Wind River will discuss issues and solutions for avionics certification, architectures and standards: DO-178, IMA, ARINC 653 and partitioning, and will demonstrate how to configure and build applications on an ARINC 653 compliant operating system.
Atego - Modeling Approaches for Safety-Critical Test Success
James Hummell - Principal Engineer, Atego
Atego will discuss generation and publication of tests, review of models for certification acceptance, and DO-178C Model Based Development (MBD). We will demonstrate how Artisan Studio can be used to satisfy certification requirements for generation and verification of tests against specifications.
Vector Software - Automating DO-178B Certification Testing
Kevin Meehan – Senior Account Manager, Vector Software
Vector Software will discuss the latest strategies for automated certification testing and will demonstrate solutions to improve test compliance for DO-178B safety-certification. The VectorCAST products automate and manage the complex tasks associated with testing safety-critical applications including unit, integration, and system level testing. Vector Software customers are developing applications in the Avionics, Military, Medical Device, Automotive, Industrial Controls, and Railway Industries that must be tested to strict safety standards including: DO-178B, ED-12B, IEC61508, MISRA, FDA/IEC62304, and CENELEC.
This One Day Seminar runs alongside the Atego HighRely training taking place at both locations in the same week, to view details go to: DO-178B & DO-254 Avionics Certification Training
