Traceability is a key aspect of all avionics and medical device development. Its flexibility allows it to adapt to virtually any existing document and development structure without having to modify existing documents to work with HighRely Trace. Furthermore, HighRely Trace allows for any type of hierarchical relationship without imposing any limits on the number of levels it can contain.
For each uniquely different format of tagging, there will be a HighRely Trace parser to correctly extract the traceability tags. HighRely Trace includes several existing parsers for the most popular tagging mechanisms used in the software development lifecycle. HighRely Trace uses an object oriented approach to traceability, where the user defines the traceability components and the traceability relationship between those components. HighRely Trace enables the user to easily define a different structure, and thus add or remove components in an object-oriented fashion.
