Matthew Hause

Chief Consulting Engineer

Matthew Hause has been developing technical systems for almost 30 years. He studied Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico and Computer Science at The University of Houston. He has worked on a diverse range of projects which have involved Process Control, Communications, SCADA, and Distributed Control, in the power systems, rail, aerospace and defense industries. His roles have varied from project manager to developer. For the past 10 years Matthew has worked at Artisan Software mentoring and training systems and software engineers in the use of UML and SysML. He has authored technical papers on project management, systems engineering, and systems development with UML and SysML, and has presented papers at many conferences including INCOSE, the IET, (formerly the IEE), BCS, ICSE, ESE, ECSI, MARC, Muretex (a conference on UAVs). He has been a regular presenter at INCOSE for many years as well as several other international conferences. At the INCOSE UK conferences, he has presented a tutorial on Systems Engineering using UML and now SysML for the past 6 years. He is a member of the IET, BCS and INCOSE, and was a member of the SysML consortium.
